To give a moment to my presentation of Cyberstalking.I had cover most of the point of the feminist theory and the relationship between it and cyberstalking through the presentation. However, there are something that I think I can improve when face to the similar situation. To begin with, for the topic , even though I had try to use more example to help the illustration, it is still not clear enough to explain the main topic cyberstalking which I put too much attention at the feminist theory part. I hope that our classmate can get enough information from the supplement to my part by Wesley. Further more, the other thing that I think I should do better is the time management of our presentation. It really not a easy thing to summarize all the key point in three minutes , I think I need to be have more good understanding and organization to the article .
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, there are also something that I think I can achieved through the presentation .As I never study any digital subject before, it is quite difficult for me to understand all the ideas and words in this reading. But after I try to read it many time and discuss it with my group mate, I can get the meaning of the article at last, which make me have a huge satisfy. What is more, I become much more careful when chatting with other by the information and communications technologies, as I had learned how serious risk it can be from the article.
I think the topic of Connie’s reading- Cyberstalking is a very fresh discussion and unfamiliar with some people, well, for me at least.
ReplyDeleteBefore the presentation, I have only an indistinct idea of the topic…..I know the meaning of “cyber” and what is “stalking”, then is it “cyber” plus “stalking” equal to cyberstalking? Not so easy? =P
As a matter of fact, my thought was focused on the aspect of traditional ethics in relation to cyberstalking initially. My concept was clarified after Connie provided an explanation of feminist ethics and how cyberstalking was seen under feminist theory.
Though our presenter was a little bit frustrated by her explanation of cyberstalking wasn’t as clear as her expectation, I think this is a clean and clear presentation as it gave a comprehensive coverage of all key arguments. Connie, don’t worry, it’s good enough for me!! =D
